Raquel Vinhas did her degree in Biochemistry and master in Cell Biology, both at University of Coimbra.

Raquel is doing her PhD with Pedro Viana Baptista and Alexandra Fernandes, and her research is focused on gold nanoparticles for leukemia diagnosis and treatment.

Outside the lab Raquel enjoys cinema, live music and wine tasting.

 

 

Nicole Vieira

Seminar: Biocompatible Fluorinated Ionic Liquids: The tool for pharmaceutical industry revival

Supervisor: Ana Belen Pereiro

 

Nicole Vieira did her degree in Human Biology at the Universidade de Évora and her master in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Coimbra.

Nicole is doing her PhD with Ana Belén Pereiro and her research is focused on the development of new drug delivery systems based on biocompatible fluorinated ionic liquids.

Outside the lab Nicole enjoys reading books, watching movies, walk her dog and being with familiy and friends.
